Q: What are Rewards Passes?

Rewards Passes have been developed with the Sony Rewards member in mind, giving you an opportunity to get rewarded for your love of Sony! Complete limited-time challenges, and get rewarded!

Rewards Passes with PlayStation challenges require the member to “unlock” the Pass in order to start the challenge; but, there is no limit to how many Passes can be unlocked at once – giving members an ability to collect rewards for multiple challenges! Passes that need to be unlocked will be indicated on the member’s “My Rewards Dashboard”. Rewards members who have linked their PSN accounts can collect rewards for doing the things they love and already do, like renting movies on PlayStation Store and subscribing to PlayStation Network Services. Check back on your My Rewards Dashboard, as new Passes can be added at any time. Rewards Passes are available for a limited time, and new PlayStation passes will roll in and roll out to challenge you throughout the year! So get ready to play, and get rewarded!

Q. How long does it take to receive rewards after I’ve completed a pass?

Please allow up to 5 business days for your extra points to be reflected on your account, or to receive an email confirmation with your special discount code.

Q. How long does it take for PlayStation activity to be reflected in my Pass?

It takes up to 5 business days for PlayStation activities, such as earning Trophies and subscribing to PlayStation Network Services, to show up in applicable Passes.

Q: Why can't I earn rewards when I am outside the United States?

A: The Sony Rewards program is only available for members located, and accessing the website, within the United States.

Q: How do I start earning rewards for completing PlayStation-related Rewards Passes?

First, you must link your PlayStation Network account to your Sony Rewards account, then unlock the specific pass by logging in to your Sony Rewards account and going to your My Rewards Home dashboard.

Triple Feature Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Triple Feature pass?

A: After you've unlocked the Triple Feature pass, rent 3 movies from the PlayStation Store. Upon completion, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address on your Sony Rewards account.

Q: Will my past movie rentals from the PlayStation Store be counted towards completing the Triple Feature pass?

A: No. Rental purchases made prior to the day you unlocked the Triple Feature pass are not eligible.

Q: How many Triple Feature passes can I complete?

A: You can complete up to 12 Triple Feature passes over a 12-month period.

Trial Blazer Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Trial Blazer Pass?

A: After you’ve unlocked the Trial Blazer pass, subscribe to the free trials for all of the following PlayStation Network Services: PlayStation Vue, Spotify available on PlayStation Music, PlayStation Now, and PlayStation Plus.

Q: After I’ve completed my Trial Blazer pass, when will I receive my PlayStation Store discount code?

A: Upon completion of this pass, an email confirmation that includes the 15% PlayStation Store discount code and redemption instructions will be sent to the email address on your Sony Rewards account.

Q: I completed my Trial Blazer pass, but didn't receive an email confirmation. Is there another way I can access my PlayStation Store discount code?

A: You can access your 15% PlayStation Store discount code by logging into your Sony Rewards account and going to My Transactions. Click on the applicable order number, then click “Get your coupon” to receive the code. Please allow up to 5 business days after the completion of the pass for your code to be available.

Entertainment Trifecta Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Entertainment Trifecta pass?

A: After you’ve unlocked the Entertainment Trifecta pass, subscribe to at least 3 of the 4 following PlayStation Network Services: PlayStation Vue, Spotify(R) available on PlayStation Music, PlayStation Now, and PlayStation Plus.

Q: After I’ve completed the Entertainment Trifecta pass, when will the bonus points be posted to my Sony Rewards account?

A: Upon completion of this pass, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address on file and you will see the points added to your Sony Rewards account. Please allow up to 5 business days for your points to display on your My Rewards Home dashboard.

Q: If I cancel my subscription to any of the applicable PlayStation Network Services, will this activity impact the completion of my Entertainment Trifecta pass?

A: If you cancel any of the applicable PlayStation Network Services prior to the 30-day grace period, you will not be awarded for that specific subscription. You will need to re-subscribe to that service and remain a member of that service for at least 30 days in order to be awarded.

Q: Apart from the Entertainment Trifecta pass, are there other ways I can earn extra points by subscribing to multiple PlayStation Network Services?

A: Yes! Members who have linked their Sony Rewards and PlayStation Network accounts automatically earn 1x points on all PlayStation Store purchases. If linked members also subscribe to multiple PlayStation Network Services, they can earn even more points on PlayStation Store purchases:

Earn 2x points when you subscribe to 2 PlayStation Network Services
Earn 3x points when you subscribe to 3 PlayStation Network Services
Earn 4x points when you subscribe to 4 PlayStation Network Services

Digital Trilogy Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Digital Trilogy pass?

A: After you’ve unlocked the Digital Trilogy pass, purchase 3 eligible Sony Pictures movies from the PlayStation Store. Movies must be valued at $9.99 or more, and be a digital download. Click here to learn more.

Q: How many Digital Trilogy passes can I complete?

A: You can complete up to 12 Digital Trilogy passes over a 12-month period.

Silver Trophy Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Silver Trophy pass?

A: After you’ve unlocked the Silver Trophy pass, earn 100 Silver Trophies when you game on the PlayStation Network.

Q: Will Silver Trophies I’ve earned in the past be counted towards completing the Silver Trophy pass?

A: No, Silver Trophies earned prior to unlocking the Silver Trophy pass do not count.

Q: How many Silver Trophy passes can I complete?

A: You can complete up to 12 Silver Trophy passes over a 12-month period.

Gold Trophy Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Gold Trophy pass?

A: After you’ve unlocked the Gold Trophy pass, earn 25 Gold Trophies when you game on the PlayStation Network.

Q: Will Gold Trophies I’ve earned in the past be counted towards completing the Gold Trophy pass? 

A: No, Gold Trophies earned prior to unlocking the Gold Trophy pass do not count. 

Q: How many Gold Trophy passes can I complete?

A: You can complete up to 12 Gold Trophy passes over a 12-month period.

Platinum Trophy Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Platinum Trophy pass?

A: After you’ve unlocked the Platinum Trophy pass, earn 10 Platinum Trophies when you game on the PlayStation Network.

Q: Will Platinum Trophies I’ve earned in the past be counted towards completing the Platinum Trophy pass? 

A: No, Platinum Trophies earned prior to unlocking the Platinum Trophy pass do not count. 

Q: How many Platinum Trophy passes can I complete?

A: You can complete up to 12 Platinum Trophy passes over a 12-month period.

Movie Buff Pass

Q: What activities do I need to do in order to complete my Movie Buff pass?

A: After you've unlocked the Movie Buff Pass, register 5 eligible Sony Pictures movie titles. Upon completion, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address on your Sony Rewards account.

Q: Will my past movie registrations be counted towards completing the  Movie Buff pass?

A: No. Movie titles registered prior to the day you unlocked the Movie Buff pass are not eligible.

Q: I completed my Movie Buff pass, but didn't receive an email confirmation. Is there another way I can access my free movie code?

A: You can access your free movie code by logging into your Sony Rewards account and going to My Transactions. Click on the applicable order number, then click “Get your coupon” to receive the code.
