THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OFFERED ONLY IN THE 50 STATES OF THE UNITED STATES (“U.S.”) AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (“D.C.”), AND IS INTENDED FOR PARTICIPATION IN THOSE AREAS ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU ARE NOT 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND A PERMANENT LEGAL RESIDENT OF ONE OF THOSE AREAS. THIS SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND GOVERNED ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF THE U.S.

1. Eligibility: The BLU-RAY™ REGISTRATION SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to permanent legal residents of the 50 states of the U.S. and D.C., who are physically located and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older. If a registrant / entrant is 18 years of age or older but a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him / her to be a minor, he / she must obtain parental / legal guardian consent prior to entering or submitting any personally identifiable information. Entrants must have either a valid social security number or a valid U.S. personal tax identification to participate. Employees of Sony Electronics Inc. (“Sponsor”), Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Inc., Klick Communications Inc., Sweepstakes administrator, their advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, design, printing, development, implementation or handling of the Sweepstakes, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent, subsidiary, and related companies, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, service providers, any other person or entity associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”), members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents), and / or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

2. Sweepstakes Description: This Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 1, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2009 (“Sweepstakes Period). This Sweepstakes consists of fifteen (15) monthly sweepstakes. Each monthly sweepstakes ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the last day of that particular month. Eastern Time shall control for all purposes of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s computer shall be the official clock for purposes of the Sweepstakes. Prospective participants who are not already Sony Rewards members are prompted to register for Sony Rewards located at www.sonyrewards.com/bluray (“Web Site”). Once registered, Sony Rewards members will have the opportunity to register their Sony Blu-ray Disc™ titles at Sony Rewards’ Sony Pictures Blu-Ray™ Club (“Blu-Ray Club") to enter this Sweepstakes.

3. How to Enter: TO ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES, YOU MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SONY REWARDS. IF YOU ARE ALREADY A SONY REWARDS MEMBER, DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN.

a. If you are already a Sony Rewards member, enter this Sweepstakes by registering for the Blu-Ray Club, and then registering one or more Sony Blu-ray Disc titles. To register for the Blu-Ray Club and to register one or more Sony Blu-ray Disc titles, you must have a Blu-ray™ Player that has the ability to connect to the Internet. To access the registration page, play your Sony Blu-ray Disc title in an Internet connected Blu-ray Player. On your TV, a screen will be displayed encouraging you to register your Sony Blu-ray Disc title and to join the Blu-Ray Club. When you try to register your first Sony Blu-ray Disc title, you will be asked to create a “user profile” with Username and Password (collectively, “Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration Information”). As a Sony Rewards member, you will be prompted to use your current Sony Rewards Username and Password for Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration Information. Once a user profile is submitted with your Sony Rewards Username and Password, you will automatically be enrolled in the Blu-Ray Club. Note: If you are not a Sony Rewards member or do not remember your Sony Rewards Username and Password for the Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration Information, you will be asked to register for Sony Rewards and to opt in to join the Blu-Ray Club if you want to participate in this Sweepstakes. Then, to enter this Sweepstakes, follow the on-screen instructions to register your Sony Blu-ray Disc title(s). There is no fee to register for the Blu-Ray Club or to register your Sony Blu-ray Disc title(s). You will receive one (1) entry into this Sweepstakes for each new and different Sony Blu-ray Disc title you successfully register (“Online Entry”). Limit thirty (30) Online Entries per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period. You must be a Sony Rewards and Blu-Ray Club member to receive Online Entries. If you register a Sony Blu-ray Disc title and are not both a Sony Rewards and Blu-Ray Club member, you will not receive an Online Entry. You cannot register Sony Blu-ray Disc rentals. To be eligible for a particular monthly sweepstakes, Online Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the last day of that month.

b. If you are not a Sony Rewards member, as described above, register to become one by accessing the Web Site and then clicking on the Sign Up Now text link to access the Sony Rewards registration form. You must complete the following information on the registration form: First Name; Last Name; Address; City; State; Zip Code; E-mail Address; Gender; Date of Birth; and your choice of Username and Password (collectively, “Sony Rewards Registration Information”). There is no fee to register for Sony Rewards. Once registered with Sony Rewards, follow the above instructions for Sony Rewards members to enter this Sweepstakes.

All Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration Information and Sony Rewards Registration Information must be completed in full. Each participant can only have one (1) Sony Rewards and Blu-Ray Club membership. Participants can only participate in the Sweepstakes under one (1) Sony Rewards Username and E-mail Address. Once a Username and E-mail Address has been registered by a participant, that Username and E-mail Address cannot be used by any other person for the Sweepstakes (or to register at the Web Site). Only the participant registered under a particular Username and E-mail Address may participate in the Sweepstakes using that Username and E-mail Address. To receive an entry into this Sweepstakes without registering a Sony Blu-ray Disc title, legibly handprint your First Name, Last Name, Address (no P.O. Boxes), City, State, Zip, Phone Number (including area code), E-mail Address, Date of Birth, and your Sony Rewards Username on a standard sized postcard (no larger than 5” x 7”), enclosed in a postage-paid business size envelope (#10), and mail it to: BLU-RAY REGISTRATION SWEEPSTAKES Alternate Entry – Monthly Sweepstakes Month (specify which month you want to be entered), P.O. Box 6862, Burbank, CA 91510 (“Alternate Entry”). In order to submit an Alternate Entry, you must already be a Sony Rewards member with a Sony Rewards Username. One (1) Alternate Entry per outer mailing envelope. Each eligible Alternate Entry is equivalent to one (1) entry into this Sweepstakes. All Alternate Entry information must be completed in full. To be eligible for a particular monthly sweepstakes, your Alternate Entry labeled with that particular monthly sweepstakes month must be received no later than the Monthly Drawing Day (as defined below) for that monthly sweepstakes. Please allow several days for mail delivery. Proof of delivery or receipt of Online Entries and Alternate Entries will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of receipt (or entry). Any attempted form of participation in this Sweepstakes other than as described herein is void.

4. Prizes / Odds of Winning. Up to 15 Monthly Prizes (one (1) prize for each of the 15 monthly sweepstakes) of one (1) Sony HDTV. Actual model of Sony HDTV awarded for a given monthly sweepstakes will be posted on the Home Page during the entry period for that monthly sweepstakes, which is made a part of these Official Rules and incorporated herein by reference. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Monthly Prize: $1,500 to $3,000. Total ARV of all Prizes: Up to $45,000. Limit one (1) Monthly Prize per person / Username per 12-month period. Odds of winning a Monthly Prize depend upon the total number of eligible Online Entries and eligible Alternate Entries received by the Monthly Drawing Day (as defined below) for that monthly sweepstakes. Merchandise awarded subject to availability. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for delays in delivery due to merchandise availability (e.g., inventory shortages, discontinued merchandise). Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to replace any merchandise for a prize with a newer model or version of same; but, in such event, Sponsor will continue to use the value of the “old” [i.e., replaced] item / service for purposes of calculating the value of the prize won. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor at its sole discretion may substitute a prize (or component of prize) of equal or greater value due to prize unavailability for any reason. Any depiction of prizes, in Sweepstakes materials or otherwise, is for illustrative purposes only. All expenses not specifically mentioned as being included (e.g., any required installation, requested upgrades / options, HDTV services) are excluded and are each winner’s sole responsibility. As applicable, prizes only come with standard Sony Electronics manufacturer’s warranty. Prizes will be shipped to street addresses in the 50 states of the U.S. and D.C. only, and only to the addresses indicated in the winners’ Sony Rewards registrations, The Sweepstakes administrator is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize.

5. Drawings. For each monthly sweepstakes, one (1) potential winner will be randomly selected from all eligible Online Entries and Alternate Entries received by the Monthly Drawing Day received for that monthly sweepstakes in a drawing to be held by the 5th calendar day after the end date of that particular monthly sweepstakes (“Monthly Drawing Day”). Nonwinning eligible Online Entries and Alternate Entries will be retained for subsequent monthly sweepstakes. All drawings will be conducted by Sweepstakes administrator, an independent judging organization.

6. Notification and Verification of Winners. In order to win a prize, you must complete the following verification process. To check if you are a winner (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules) for a particular monthly sweepstakes, login to the Web Site between the 5th and 12th calendar day after the end date for that particular monthly sweepstakes. For example, for the October 2008 monthly sweepstakes, you would need to check the Web Site to see if you are a winner between November 5, 2008 and November 12, 2008. Upon successful login to the Web Site the promotion carousel at the bottom of your homepage will display a “Congratulations!” message for this Sweepstakes if you are a winner. Click on the verification link and then follow the online instructions to claim / verify your prize. You can also check if you are a winner by accessing the Web Site and checking for the posted winning Username for the current monthly sweepstakes. You MUST confirm your winning status as described on the Web Site and in compliance with these Official Rules to win a prize. Upon completing the verification process, if your Username was posted as the winning Username for that monthly sweepstakes, you will be immediately notified online that you are a potential winner. If a potential winner does not complete the verification process between the 5th and 12h calendar day after the end date / time of that particular monthly sweepstakes, he / she will forfeit any prize eligibility for that monthly sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes entrant is a potential winner, such potential winner (or his / her parent / legal guardian if he / she is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him / her to be a minor) will then be notified by phone within three (3) business days of completing the verification process and required to complete and sign an IRS Form W-9. Each potential winner (or his / her parent / legal guardian if he / she is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him / her to be a minor) will be required to complete and sign an IRS Form W-9 within seven (7) business days of his / her receipt of the form, or such winner may be disqualified. By returning a completed and signed IRS Form W-9, such winner signifies that he / she is in compliance with these Official Rules. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible for any reason, or if he / she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, including without limitation, completing the verification process and returning the W-9 in the timeframes specified above, such potential winner will be disqualified.

7. Additional Terms and Disclaimers: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for Sony Rewards registrations / Sony Blu-ray Disc registrations / Online Entries / Alternate Entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), in excess of the stated limits, or for Sony Rewards registrations / Sony Blu-ray Disc registrations / Online Entries / Alternate Entries that are illegible, late, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, incomplete, mutilated, postage-due or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules and all such Sony Rewards registrations / Sony Blu-ray Disc registrations / Online Entries / Alternate Entries will be disqualified. If a winner is a minor under applicable law, then the prize may, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, be awarded in the name of, or to, that minor’s parent or legal guardian. Sweepstakes subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state and local laws. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Sweepstakes; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of suspension / modification / termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice will be posted at Web Site, and the affected drawing(s) will be conducted from among all eligible Online Entries and Alternate Entries received for such affected drawing(s) which were received prior to and / or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or prizes for such affected drawing(s) will be awarded via some other means determined by Sponsor (in its sole discretion) to be fair, appropriate and consistent with the spirit of these Official Rules. Any person attempting to forge or tamper with the Sweepstakes or otherwise defraud Sponsor will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and will be ineligible to win a prize. By participating, participants (if a minor, his / her parent / legal guardian) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from losses / injuries of any kind, including personal injury and / or death, resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, or the acceptance / possession, use / misuse of a prize by winners of prizes; or inability to use prize; shipping delays of prize merchandise; item prize unavailability, human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Sony Rewards Registration Information / Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration Information / Online Entry Information / Alternate Entry Information; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by the Sweepstakes or participant; interruption or inability to access the Sweepstakes, Web Site (including, but not limited to, the spin the wheel multiplier), or any online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrant’s (or any third person’s) computer and / or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the Sweepstakes; any lost / delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and / or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities. Each participant further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against the Sweepstakes Entities. Sweepstakes Entities are also not responsible for any typographical or other error contained in the Official Rules or other Sweepstakes-related materials (including but not limited to the wheel). IN NO EVENT WILL SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, ANY PRIZE AWARDED HEREUNDER, YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WEB SITE OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND / OR PRINTING OF MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEB SITE. Return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of prize and / or disqualification of winner at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including, but not limited to, income taxes) arising from Sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of each winner. Each winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 from Sponsor / Sponsor’s representative, for the year in which he / she was officially declared a winner, in the amount of the total value of his / her prize(s) won. Unless provided otherwise by Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at http://www.sonyrewards.com/en/footer/privacy_legal/, where permitted by law, participation and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its subsidiaries to use such winner’s full name, photograph, likeness, statements, voice, biographical information and address (city and state) for advertising / trade / publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereinafter devised, in perpetuity, without further notice, permission or compensation, in connection with Sweepstakes, or the prize(s) awarded, and the advertising and marketing thereof. Additionally, by opting-in to specific offers from any of the Sweepstakes Entities, participant’s Sony Rewards Registration Information and Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration Information will be subject to their respective privacy policies and terms of service, and participant agrees to receive additional E-mail communication from those companies. The privacy policy for any Sweepstakes Entity participating in an opt-in will be accessible from the registration form. Opting in to specific offers does not improve one’s chances of winning. Participants also agree to be bound by the Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and / or Sponsor’s representatives, which are final and binding in all respects, and waive any right to claim any ambiguity in these Official Rules or Sweepstakes materials. Submitted Sony Rewards Registration / Sony Blu-ray Disc Registration / Online Entry / Alternate Entry Information become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant who submitted an Online Entry, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, the authorized account holder of the E-mail Address associated with that Online Entry will be deemed the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an E-mail Address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning E-mail Addresses for the domain associated the relevant E-mail Address. Said owner must comply with these Official Rules and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, may be required to provide proof of ownership of the E-mail account. Sweepstakes Entities shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity that may be caused or contributed to (1) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of the prize supplier or any of its agents, servants, employees or independent contractors, (2) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of Sponsor, or (3) by any other cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the control of Sponsor or their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies. The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

8. GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION: Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to (i) the Sweepstakes, (ii) the awarding or redemption of any prize and / or (iii) the determination of the scope or applicability of these Official Rules or their enforcement or interpretation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of New Jersey without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. Entrant agrees that his / her claim will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Entrant further agrees that any claim / judgment / award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys' fees; and, under no circumstances, will an entrant be entitled to awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. Should any term of this Section be deemed void, unenforceable or contrary to law, such term shall, but only to the extent necessary to bring this Section within the requirements of law, be deemed to be severed from the other terms of these Official Rules, and the remainder of these Official Rules shall be given effect as if it had not included the severed term herein.

THE PARTIES HEREBY WAIVE THEIR RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL WITH RESPECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND ISSUES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT WHETHER SOUNDING IN CONTRACT OR TORT, AND INCLUDING ANY CLAIM FOR FRAUDULENT INDUCEMENT THEREOF.

9. OFFICIAL RULES / WINNERS LIST: An additional copy of these Official Rules by which all participants are bound, or the names of winners, may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: BLU-RAY™ REGISTRATION SWEEPSTAKES “Rules” or “Winners List” (specify which), P.O. Box 6614, Burbank, CA 91510 to be received no later than March 1, 2010.
