My name is Paul D. and I want to thank your show from the bottom of my heart for so many years of service to the American family, I am now 42 years old and have been watching your show since I was 11. I grew up in a deaf household, with my deaf parents and two of my three other siblings who are deaf as well.

As a result, the television was always my friend and Wheel of Fortune played a prominent part of that friendship. I had a grandmother named Helen Hendrick, and she and I would watch your show every night together. It was our special time to spend together. We would share some fruit or a bowl of ice-cream. We shared so many heartfelt conversations, where I learned so much about life before during and after the show.

Time went by and the invention of closed captioning for the deaf brought the rest of my family into our little Wheel of Fortune circle. We would compete to see who could solve the puzzles first. It was a show that we could all agree we wanted to watch. Your show exemplifies what other family shows should be about. You bring family and friends together, where we can put our worries and problems aside and relax for thirty minutes. I continue to watch Wheel of Fortune every night with my beautiful wife Dinean and our six cats. Thanks for the memories and memories to come.
