My son, Nicholas, has to be the youngest Wheel Watcher. He was 2 1/2 when he started watching “Wheel-a-Portune” at Granny and Pa’s house. Now we watch every night--reluctantly at first, but now we are hooked!

Nicholas even has his own wooden wheel that he spins while he watches the show, not to mention, the rest of the day. We knew we had to make him his own wheel when I caught him spinning a tiny color wheel on a toddler toy shouting “Big Money”! It thrilled me that his imagination was so big as he clapped and asked Pat for a “B”, but it broke my heart to see that tiny paper wheel spin. It took an entire weekend, literally, but he has the best (and loudest) wheel this side of the television set. And his form is superb! He also helps Vanna reveal letters, 6 nights a week Nicholas “stickies” up the TV set with Post-It notes.

He is a computer geek already and loves to “spin the wheel” when he plays online. He loves to “raise the roof” with his online character (usually the man in the blue shirt and tie) when they guess a correct letter together.

Anything that spins these days reminds him of the show. He visited his Dad at work last week and his swiveling desk chair magically became the Wheel. I want you to know how much I appreciate your show. Nicholas’s body clock is tuned almost precisely to your 7:30 Showtime here, so we rarely miss a show since he got hooked. I love sharing him with you. He makes me smile every time he yells “Ten Fousand Dollars!” or sighs at “Bankrupts.”
